Guitarist Yotam Silberstein goes both acoustic and electric on this strong post bop album teamed up with vets John Patitucci/b and Billy Hart/dr, with a couple nice cameos by tenor titan George Coleman. Of the latter, Coleman is luscious with Silberstein on “Never Let Me Go” while growling out a feisty bopper in “Low Joe.” The threesome are suave, with Silberstein reflective around Patitucci on “Beija Flor” and bouncing with the bassist on a nimble “Little Willie Leaps”. His acoustic guitar is sublime for the romantic “If I Loved You” and serene for the samba’d read of “Stella By Starlight”. Strong strings.
