Music to stretch boundaries and ears!
A sextet of two drummers (Didier Lasserre, Peter Orins), pianists (Sophie Agnel, Satoko Fujii) and trumpeters (Natsuki Tamura, Christian Pruvost) make up this five part cooperative collection. Lots of valve sounds which include fluffing, puffing and wheezing squawk along on pieces like “Part III” and the plunger mutes get a workout along with scurrying percussion that sounds like the house is filled with mice on ”Part IV” and “ Part V” with spacious rattles and effects creating an eerie mood on “Part I.” What does it look like in concert?
