Modern toned Sebian guitarist Jovan Milovanovic leads a post bop team of Kristijan Mlacak/ts-ss, Milan Nikolic/b and Aleksander Cvetkovic/dr through a collection of originals. His tensile sound gives a chunky pulse for Mlacak’s tenor on “Green Dream” and the team gets funky with Nikolic’s electric bass on “Untilted Groove”, the bouncy “11:50” and the hip “RMT”. With Mlacak on soprano sax, Milovanic goes modal on an assertive “Daisy People Music” with things getting pretty as the guitarist brings out his blue strings for “Away From You” and his dials are turned to resonant for De Sibre”. Palpable pulses.
