An exciting mix of jazz and tribal Afro Cuban is delivered by drummer Henry Cole and his band Villa Locura on this collection of eight feisty originals. The Metropole Orkest joins in for a rocking backdrop of the hard hitting “No Estamos Solos” while Negro Gonzalez brings in some rap for the edgy “De Frente”. Tribal chants and rants from Duke Amayo rumble on “Vueltas” with Cole leading the deep trudge of “Y En Suenos Te Persigo” and the bluesy “Azul Turquesa”. A bit of traditional Latin culture plugged in to modern urban life.
