The hour+ “Rockumentary” includes the early life and career of Steve Marriott, from his early days with The Small Faces, forming Humble Pie with Peter Frampton, and eventually making the band all his own. Interviews with Frampton, John Waite and friends, band members and family are interspersed with some fantastic concert footage of Marriot in all phases of his career.

The 90 minute cd includes a complete concert of the 1973 version of Humble Pie, and they are in a rocking form on versions of “Thirty Days In The Hole”, “Hot and Nasty” and “I Don’t Need No Doctor.” Marriott’s voice was a force of nature, and he sounds drenched in bluesy gospel all throughout.
