A three-man orchestra of synth, percussion, clarinet, accordion, slide whistle and musical saw provide the sounds appropriate to accompany. Each film score has it’s own thematic sounds. The forty-two individually-tracked cues range from fourteen seconds to 4:36. The recording is so life-like it’s spooky. The whole disc is charming, fun and clever, but frustrating; I want to hear these in sync with the flicks: Keaton’s “One Week,” Chaplin’s “Easy Street,” and “Big Business” by Laurel and Hardy.
