Bettina
Jonic This one
was a toughie. Bettina Jonic is a mezzo soprano that delivers songs in
moods ranging from Weimer Germany Cabaret to light opera to avant garde
jazz. While she breaks the mood with a rocking blues on Dylan’s
“I’d Sure hate To Be You…”, most of the tunes
are of a highly acquired taste. Obscure Dylan tunes reign supreme here-just
not sure who would want this two disc set. Teutonic Baby Boomer opera
fans?
